The ancient Romans called Lares the household guardian — the quiet watcher who protected the family without ever stepping into the light. Here, Lares watches over veterinary medical knowledge.

How Lares responds

Who is Lares for?

How is the information verified?

Every answer is grounded in cited sources: professional guidelines, peer-reviewed monographs, and veterinary medicine consensus. Never invented — always with provenance.

Can I try it for free?

Can I cancel at any time?

Yes. Cancellation is one click. Access remains until the end of the paid period. Your data is retained for 30 days in case you change your mind.

Do you have a mobile app?

Are the answers verified by a veterinarian?

The Lares corpus is built from guidelines published by professional veterinary organisations (WSAVA, ESCCAP, AAHA, AAEP), SPCs authorised by EMA and VMD, and academically recognised reference handbooks. Every fragment carries a citable source with a publication date. Lares does not generate clinical opinions — it surfaces what the sources say. When a source is missing or outdated, the system explicitly says “I don't know” rather than interpolating. This does not replace consulting a specialist for a specific case.

Is my data and my patients' data safe? Where is it stored?

Your account and session data are stored within the European Union, on Supabase infrastructure (eu-central-1, Frankfurt). Didactic studies are structurally anonymised — no personally identifiable information about the owner or the animal. We do not sell, transfer, or use personal data for marketing. Can I use Lares as the basis for a clinical decision?

No. Lares is a reference and learning tool, not a clinical decision support system and not a medical device. Answers present what guidelines and authorised monographs say — they do not replace clinical examination, anamnesis, or the veterinarian's judgement. The clinical decision belongs exclusively to the licensed veterinarian who knows the case.

Why in my own language?

International veterinary medicine guidelines are published almost exclusively in English. The standard of care should not have a language barrier. Lares builds the corpus from international sources (WSAVA, EMA, VMD, ESCCAP) and presents the same cited corpus in the language you work in — English, Romanian or Hungarian today — with correct veterinary clinical terminology.

What happens when Lares does not know the answer?

It says so explicitly. If no citable source in the corpus supports your query, the system does not estimate or invent — it refuses and recommends consulting the primary source or a specialist. Honesty about limits is part of the product.
